We’ve been broadcasting daily featuring select women’s voices sourced from the rich and informative social media tweetstream found via several hashtags including: #fertility, #infertility, and #niaw (the acronym for the National Infertility Awareness Week) sponsored by RESOLVE aka @ResolveOrg.
As Twitter has grown and spawned the power of real time social media engagement, the role of both #hashtags, and their use via community chats dubbed ‘tweetchats’ has grown exponentially.
We’ve decided to coral some of those voices today in what we believe is a Twitter first for NIAW. Tagged #NIAWchat, at 1PM Pacific and 4PM Eastern we are curating a national ‘tweetchat’ on fertility and infertility issues.
From 1PM to 1:30PM Pacific the tweetchat will be ‘simulcast’ via ‘This Week in Fertility‘ on the BlogTalk Radio Network with yours truly as moderator. We hope you can join us, and please feel free to recirculate and/or Re-tweet this blog post to your friends, families, and interested parties.
